Students aiming for top scores in IB Physics often need clarity, consistency, and someone who understands the exam inside out. I’ve been tutoring IB Physics for over 8 years, having earned my MSc in Astrophysics after completing the IB myself. I’ve guided students through HL and SL topics like fields, wave phenomena, and quantum physics, and have extensive experience supporting Internal Assessments and exam prep.

Working with students across the A-Level Physics curriculum has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey as a tutor. With over six years of experience and a background in mechanical engineering, I’ve supported students tackling everything from mechanics and electricity to nuclear physics. Along the way, I’ve built long-term learning relationships that extend beyond just improving grades, I’ve seen students grow into confident problem-solvers, ready to tackle complex challenges with clarity and purpose.

My background includes teaching IGCSE Physics full-time while completing a master’s degree in applied physics. I’ve helped students navigate topics from waves and energy to motion and magnetism across a range of international schools. Before moving into tutoring I worked as a lab demonstrator at a secondary school in Yorkshire supporting students through GCSE Physics practicals. I now focus entirely on one-to-one tuition guiding students across the full syllabus from electricity and magnetism to forces and motion while helping them prepare for exam boards like AQA and Edexcel with confidence.

My tutoring journey began in university, offering support in Physics and Calculus to fellow undergraduates. After graduating with distinction in Physics, I transitioned to full-time tutoring with a focus on AP Physics. I’ve worked with students across the US, preparing them for AP Physics 1, 2, and C. I also tutor AP Calculus when needed and have experience mentoring students aiming for top scores in college-level science exams.
